| When should I hire a planner? |
Generally, the more time you give yourself and the planner to develop an event, the better. Here are some guidelines for hiring Berenice: elopements/intimate weddings: These can be booked up to 6 months in advance or a few days before, depending on the complexity of the event and availability of vendors and venues. proposals: Same as elopements/intimate weddings - anywhere from a few days to 6 months in advance intimate social events (e.g. birthdays, showers, holiday parties): At least 2 weeks in advance large weddings and social events: Must be booked at least 6 months in advance |
| What forms of payment do you accept? | Cash, check and credit. |
| Do you offer any discounts or special offers? | Yes! Students (undergraduates and graduates, from any college or university) will always receive a discount. Students must present evidence of student status to be eligible. Occasionally, special promotions will be announced on Twitter (@with3es). |
| What is an intimate wedding? | An intimate wedding, or elopement, is a small wedding. It means fewer guests (8 or fewer, not including the couple) and a simpler celebration. It does NOT mean cold, meaningless, or lacking in details, love and fun. |
| Where do the weddings take place? | We will work together to select an awesome location for your wedding. This may include free/public spaces (a park, lake, etc.) and (with enough notice) reserved spaces. Please note: most venues are designed for large weddings and therefore have large price tags. The location will be within 25 miles of Blacksburg, VA. Wedding locations outside of this radius can be discussed and will likely require an additional fee. |
